Vision and Philosophy

Vision

Our vision is to work in cooperation with parents to educate their daughters to be intelligent and trustworthy leaders through the pursuit of truth, beauty and the responsible use of their freedom.

Philosophy

Magnolia School is a non-profit, private, independent, liberal arts school for girls. Through an integrated curriculum, we educate the whole person: heart, mind, body and soul. We provide the foundation for academic excellence and personal integrity enlivened by a strong faith, as well as a spirit of freedom and adventure. In collaboration with parents, teachers awaken in every student a zeal for learning and a desire for living out her faith. Teachers encourage each girl to cultivate her strengths and personality, helping her to develop into a mature and confident leader who serves others. The religious education program is based on the teachings of the Catholic Church.

The pastoral care of Magnolia School is entrusted to a priest of Opus Dei who serves as Chaplain. Opus Dei is a Personal Prelature of the Catholic Church, founded by St. Josemaria Escriva.
