4th Grade Teacher

Magnolia School, a private, independent, liberal arts school for girls in grades 2-8 seeks a 4th grade teacher. 4th grade at Magnolia is a self-contained class and the teacher will be responsible for the majority of subjects taught to the 4th grade class, including math, language arts, science, and history. Requisites for the position include a bachelor’s degree (at minimum), previous teaching experience, a commitment to and love of the students of Magnolia School, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a flexible, joyful, and professional demeanor. Admissions Coordinator & Special Event Support

Magnolia School, a private, independent, liberal arts school for girls in grades 2-8 seeks an Admissions Coordinator for the upcoming 2020-2021 academic year. The Admissions Coordinator will guide prospective families through the process of inquiry, application, interview, and enrollment. Additionally, they will be responsible for the management of the online platform (TADS Educate) used throughout this process. The Coordinator will also plan and execute Admissions related events, such as Open House, a New Parent Orientation, and Back to School Night. The Admissions Coordinator will also provide special event support to several departments in the school and assist with both advancement and school events as requested. Requisites for the position include a commitment to and love of the students and prospective students of Magnolia School, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a flexible, joyful, and professional demeanor. Experience with website maintenance and/or development is helpful, but not required. Maintenance Coordinator

Magnolia School, a private, independent, liberal arts school for girls in grades 2-8 seeks a Maintenance Coordinator for their facilities located at 9902 Long Point Road. The Maintenance Coordinator will provide hands-on support during the school day for basic repairs and necessary cleaning, as well as work with outside contractors to coordinate larger repairs and maintenance as needed. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, daily and special event set up and break down, fire safety management and compliance, and availability to run off site errands as needed. Requisites for the position include familiarity with facilities maintenance and management and sufficient physical strength to complete requested tasks. Additional facilities management related certifications are helpful, but not required. Registrar & School Support

Magnolia School, a private, independent, liberal arts school for girls in grades 2-8 seeks a part-time employee to work as Registrar and provide general administrative school support for the upcoming 2020-2021 academic year. This employee will be primarily responsible for managing the ongoing enrollment, registration, and academic records of the students of Magnolia School through the TADS Educate system. Additionally, they will provide administrative support for a variety of other tasks including, but not limited to, assisting parents with the high school application process, daily attendance, medical records, and updating calendars. Experience using TADS Educate or a similar school management system would be most helpful. The qualified candidate must have excellent computer skills and a strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
